Prince Salman Inspects Military Sectors in Northern Region

Baten, Jumada II 11, 1433, May 2, 2012, SPA - Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, patronized here today the military parade in the Northern Region.
Upon arrival at the venue, the Prince was received by Chief of General Staff, General Hussein Al-Qabil.
The Prince watched various units of the Armed Forces in the Northern Region as well as an air show of helicopters of Royal Saudi Air Force.
A speech ceremony was held on this occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, Prince Salman conveyed to them the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Supreme Commander of Armed Forces and Crown Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, , Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior.
He stressed that stability in the Kingdom has been based on the pillars of application of Sharia and adherence to the Holy Quran and Prophet's Sunnah as well as justice.
The Prince said that his visit aims to get a briefing on their readiness and needs.
The ceremony was attended by Prince Jelawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Vice Governor of the Eastern Region and a number of princes and officials.
