At least four people were killed Sunday in a suspected US drone strike on Pakistan's north-western tribal region along the Afghan border, an official said. An unmanned aircraft targeted a compound in Miransha, the main town of North Waziristan - one of Pakistan's seven tribal districts. DPA quoted the official as saying that a drone fired two missiles into a compound, destroying it completely. "The information we have received shows that locals pulled out four bodies from the debris," he said. Two or three drones continued to hover in the sky after the attack, creating fear among residents.
