A number of Yemeni officials expressed condemnation and denunciation for kidnapping Vice Consul at Saudi Embassy in Yemen Abdullah Khalidi by terrorist elements. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the officials said that terrorist crime is against humanity, Islamic law and Arab ethics, describing it as distasteful exploitation to the circumstances experienced in Yemen. They were the Chairman of the National Organization for Defending Rights and Freedoms Mohammed Naji; Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sana'a Hassan Abdullah Kabous; and Spokesman for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sana'a Ali Mohammed Abdulwahab Jabbari.
