Maintenance workers on London's Underground (Tube) network on Tuesday began a 72-hour strike over pensions and security which unions vowed would have a "big impact.", dpa reported. However, operators London Underground (LU) insisted that the walkout on three lines would not have a "significant effect." The action taken by members of Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) was due to last until Friday.
