Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said he plans to be back home Thursday after finishing his latest round of cancer treatment in Cuba, according to AP. Chavez said in a phone call aired live on state television Monday that the radiation therapy treatments are "rough" and that he will need to recover. He said that once he's back in Venezuela, he still plans to return to Cuba for one more round of radiation treatment. They are Chavez's first remarks on Venezuelan television since he left for Havana on April 14. Since then, he had communicated only through messages on his Twitter account. Chavez said Monday that he is working with his foreign minister, his brother Adan and another aide. Chavez said he has been working on a new "socialist" labor law.
