The International Inventions Exhibition concluded here today. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Exhibition was represented by King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity "Mawhibah." As many as 765 inventors from 45 countries took part in the Exhibition. Global companies have shown great attention to Saudi inventions and started negotiations with inventors to manufacture and market their innovations in the world markets including a device for catching a sand fly that cause skin diseases invented by Dr. Hamed Al-Qahtani; an invention by Dr. Maha Mohammed Khayyat to control Nano-micro silicon wires, and a discovery by Dr. Abdulrahman Abdulhadi Al-Sultan of a gene that can identify diabetes in patients subject to the risks of multi-resistant germs.
