U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke with her Pakistani counterpart about their shared responsibility to confront militants, following Sunday's attacks in Afghanistan, the State Department said Monday. Clinton discussed the attacks with Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar and "underscored our shared responsibility for robust action-by the U.S. and ISAF (International Security Assistance Force), by Afghanistan, and by Pakistan-to confront and defeat terrorists and violence extremists," the department said in a statement. Clinton also discussed the "next steps in the U.S.-Pakistani dialogue" following the conclusion of a Pakistani parliamentary review, department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said.
