U.S. authorities say two people are confirmed dead after reports that a tornado touched down in the northwest Oklahoma town of Woodward, AP reported. A sheriff's office dispatcher, Matt Jones, told The Associated Press early Sunday that two people are dead but he did not have immediate details. He says the tornado hit part of west Woodward and the nearby town of Tangier.
