Sudan has officially lodged a complaint to the United Nations (UN) and the African Union over the aggressions committed by South Sudan on Hijlij area. In a press conference held here today, the Undersecretary of the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rahamtallah Mohammed Osman said that the aggressions committed by the People's army on the oil rich Hijlij area is an incursion into the Sudanese territory, pointing to the flagrant violation of international norms and charters.
