Coal Mine Flooding Traps Seven in East China

A coal mine flooding occurred in Peixian county of east China's Jiangsu province Tuesday afternoon, trapping seven miners underground.
Ten miners were working at the Kongzhuang Coal Mine when the flooding occurred at 5:37 p.m. Three workers managed to escape, Xinhua quoted the company as saying.
Rescue work is under way.
