Syrian forces resumed their shelling Tuesday of Hama and Homs Cities and northern areas of Aleppo. "(The) sound of exploding shells were heard across Hama city, while Syrian mortar shells fell on the old neighborhood of Homs city," Rami Abdel Rahman, head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, told DPA. He added that Syrian military forces backed by tanks are trying to storm an area in the neighborhood of Maraa, in Aleppo city.
