Emir of Qatar Concludes India Visit, Heads to Philippines

Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and his accompanying delegation, concluded a three-day official visit to India and left New Delhi this morning for Manila as part of an Asian tour that also includes the Republic of Philippines.
During his visit to New Delhi, Sheikh Hamad and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh witnessed yesterday the signing of several agreements and Memorandums of Understanding between India and Qatar to enhance cooperation in the fields of petroleum and natural gas, education, culture, trade, legal affairs and banking.
