U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Monday warned Syria to comply with Kofi Annan's six-point peace plan and that it must do so without condition. "The secretary general reiterates his demand that the government of Syria immediately cease all military actions against civilians and fulfill all of its commitments made through Joint Special Envoy Kofi Annan," Ban's office said in a statement. "The timeline for the complete cessation of violence endorsed by the Security Council must be respected by all without condition." Ban also condemned cross-border fire from Syria into Lebanon and Turkey that resulted in deaths.
