Officials were reviewing security Friday after a British traveler breached a checkpoint and caused the evacuation of a terminal at New Jersey's Newark Liberty International Airport, according to AP. Port Authority Police spokesman Al Della Fave said the 64-year-old man walked past a distracted Transportation Security Administration agent at an exit area Thursday and made it all the way to an airline gate. Airport authorities discovered the breach when the man asked an employee about an arriving flight, Della Fave said. The terminal was evacuated for about an hour, and passengers had to be rescreened. Four flights were delayed. Charan Jit Singh told authorities he was in town for a family wedding and was at the airport to pick up another family member. He was issued a summons for criminal trespassing and released, Della Fave said. Della Fave said surveillance video showed a TSA agent giving another passenger directions as Singh entered unnoticed through an exit door and proceeded past several 'Do Not Enter' signs down an airport corridor. The TSA said the agent has been removed from screening duties while the breach is under investigation. -- SPA
