The United States (US) has frozen annual aid to Mali, following the military coup d'état of last month, demanding the coup leaders to return power immediately to the civilians. The State House announced, last night, that no less than $ 13 million of American annual aid provided to Mali will be frozen, indicating that the freeze will affect US assistance to Malian Ministry of Health, public schools and endeavors to promote agricultural production, or the direct assistance to governmental programs, in general. -- SPA
