Syrian troops backed by tanks have stormed a northwestern town amid intense shelling, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and the Local Coordination Committees. They say the troops entered Saraqeb from the north and are pushing forward. The Observatory said at least one civilian was killed in the attack. The groups were quoted as saying that troops are raiding homes and detaining people.
