Official talks between Japanese Emperor Akihito and the visiting Kuwaiti Emir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, began here today. The two sides discussed means of strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields. They also reviewed a number of other issues of mutual interest and latest developments at regional and international arenas.
