An annual International Conference On "Arabic Language" opened its works here today under the patronage of Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, who was represented by the Lebanese Minister of Culture Capi Lyon. The conference, held under the theme of "Arabic, A Universal Language .. responsibility of the individual, society and state," was organized by the International Council for the Arabic language. Saudi ambassador to Lebanon Ali bin Saeed Awadh Asiri, Arab diplomats, academicians and delegates of scientific bodies and institutions attended the conference.
