GCC Countries Accomplish World Millennium Development Goals: Secretary General

Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdul-Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani said today that all countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) have achieved the World Millennium Development Goals and went beyond them.
This came in a speech delivered by Dr. Al-Zayani this morning at the opening session of a conference on "Reality and Expectations of Security of GCC States" which opened earlier today in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Al-Zayani said that the GCC countries are aiming to expand further development and to introduce regulations that meet the aspirations and needs of their peoples.
