Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh region, chaired here yesterday a session of the Regional Council, in the presence of Prince Mohammed bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Vice Governor of Riyadh Region and Vice President of the Council. The Council's Secretary General Suleiman bin Mohammed Al-Qannas pointed out that the Council reviewed topics on its agenda aiming to improve educational, health, and economic services and facilities. He noted that the Council was briefed on the cable of Crown Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, on allocation of SR 5 billion for completion of projects of rain water and floods drainage networks and SR 900 million for Al-Sulay Valley in Riyadh, indicating that the Council expressed its satisfaction over these financial allocations to tackle the problem of rain water and floods.
