Industrial Cities Authority and Siemens Company signed here today a contract for leasing a land for the establishment of an industrial project for the production of gas turbines for power plants and electric compressors in the Second Industrial City of Dammam, involving an investment of SR 750 million. The signing of the contract took place in the presence of Minister of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Authority's Board of Directors Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah at the Park Hayat Hotel in Jeddah. The contract was signed by the Authority's Director General Eng. Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Rasheed and the Company's CEO in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Eng. Arya Talkaar. Siemens will build the power plant for the production of gas turbines for power plants and electric compressors on the allocated land for the project in the city, covering an area of 220,000 square meters.
