The Ministers of Communications of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States arrived here today to participate in the first meeting of the GCC E-Government Ministerial Committee. The GCC officials were Bahraini Minister of Transportation Kamal bin Ahmad Mohammed; Qatari Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Information and Communication Technology Dr. Hessa Sultan Al-Jaber; Omani Minister of Sports Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Information Technology Commission Eng. Ali bin Masoud bin Ali Al-Sunaidi; Kuwaiti Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transportation Abdul-Latif Surayye Al-Surayye; and UAE Director General of Emirates E-Government Salem Khamis Al-Shair Al-Swaidi. Upon arrival at King Khalid International Airport, they were received by Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Mohamed Jamil bin Ahmed Mulla and a number of officials.
