The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet session which was held at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh today. At the outset of the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Princes and Ministers wished Crown Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, continuing good health and every success. Then, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on the discussions he made with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and the President of Sudan Omar Hassan Al-Bashir, stressing the depth of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the two countries and the keenness of the three parties to develop and enhance relations in all fields in a way that serves the joint interest and the issues of Arab and Islamic nations. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information, said the Cabinet discussed the latest developments at Arab arena, hailing the decisions issued by 137th session of the Arab League Council at the Foreign Ministers level which included various issues of joint Arab action in the political, economic, and security fields. In this regard, the Cabinet reviewed the final decision of the Arab League Council on dealing with the Syrian crisis, reiterating that the situation in Syria has reached limits requiring all to act quickly and seriously in a way that gives the Syrian people a glimmer of hope for the possibility of ending the cruel ordeal which escalates every day. --More
