GCC Secretary General Receives Chinese Envoy On Syrian Crisis

The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Dr Abdul-Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani met here today Assistant Chinese Foreign Minister and the Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on the Syrian crisis, Zhang Ming and the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of strengthening relations between the GCC and the People's Republic of China in all fields, and the latest developments in the region.
They also exchanged views on the Syrian file and (the current) developments in the Middle East as well as political issues of common concern.
