Three senior Syrian military officers, including two generals have defected to Turkey, Turkish state TV channel TRT reported Friday according to dpa. TRT reported the three, two generals and a colonel, had escaped across the border into Turkey's border province of Hatay. Refugees from Syria have been flowing steadily into Turkey since the violent suppression of opposition groups inside Syria began last year.
