Under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to provide urgent assistance to the Tunisian government in the wake of a wave of cold and snow that has been recently hit Tunisia, a Saudi cargo plane loaded with 43 ??tons of medicines and medical supplies landed at Tunis International Airport today. Upon arrival, the plane was received by a number of Saudi diplomats and Tunisian officials. Five Saudi cargo planes have transported over the past week an amount of 530 tons of humanitarian aid and relief materials to Tunisia for the same purpose.
