The U.S. is offering $1 million for information leading to the safe return of a former FBI agent who vanished in Iran five years ago. The case has increasingly frustrated investigators trying to bring him home, according to AP. The reward announced Tuesday is the latest high-profile effort by the FBI to find a way to determine Robert Levinson's whereabouts. Earlier this year, a video of Levinson was released by his family. The short video generated enormous publicity but no concrete leads. In the video, a haggard Levinson pleads for his life. Levinson, 63, a private investigator, disappeared from the Iranian island of Kish. Friday marks the five-year anniversary of his disappearance.
