An Official Source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that at 11 pm on Monday, 05/03/2012, fire was shot at Khalaf bin Mohammed Salem Al-Ali, an employee at Saudi Embassy in Bangladesh, while he was walking near his home in Dhaka; then he was transferred immediately to the hospital for treatment, but he died at 2 am at dawn today. Bangladeshi authorities started, at the highest levels, intensive investigations in this crime to gain access to all surrounding circumstances, including perpetrators of this criminal act and their motives. The Bangladeshi authorities were demanded for speedy intensification of the required protection for all staff of the Embassy and its attaché offices. The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani contacted the brother of the deceased and conveyed to him and his family the condolences of Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs started the procedures for the transfer of body to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
