GCC Chief Leaves Sana'a

The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani left here today following a brief visit in which he extended congratulations to the new Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi, on the occasion of winning the early-held presidential elections.
On departing Yemen, Al-Zayani made a press statement, asserting that the GCC would support the President in the next stage via the planned GCC-sponsored Conference of the Friends of Yemen in Riyadh in April 2012.
