Nelson Mandela was discharged from hospital Sunday after a checkup revealed that complaints of abdomen pains were not serious, the South African presidency said on its website Sunday. "The doctors have decided to send him home as the diagnostic procedure he underwent did not indicate anything seriously wrong with him," the office of President Jacob Zuma said in a statement.
