Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, has honored SABIC for sponsoring the Saudi International Conference on Nephrology and Transplantation held recently in collaboration with the Prince Fahd Bin Salman Charity Association for Renal Failure Patients Care at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh. SABIC was the Platinum Sponsor of the conference. Prince Salman presented a memento to Mohamed Al-Mady, SABIC Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, at the opening ceremony of the event. Al-Mady said that SABIC's sponsorship of the conference is rooted in its commitment to contribute responsibly to a better society and support any national activity that serves the local community. SABIC extends support to patients, particularly kidney patients in remote areas, and helps them pursue their treatment options. Prince Salman's patronage of the conference has given it an added impetus, Al-Mady said. “It reflects his keen interest in the welfare of patients in the Kingdom, and his determined efforts to ease their sufferings,” he was quoted as saying in a latest press release of SABIC. --MORE
