Head of the Government of National Reconciliation in Yemen Mohammed Salem Basindawa confirmed that the main political forces in Yemen have accepted the GCC-sponsored initiative and its annexed protocol to resolve Yemen crisis because it is the best option to save lives, spare bloodbath and avert drifting the country into chaos and civil war. Basindawa was addressing a number of representatives of various political entities opposing the Yemeni regime of Ali Abdullah Salih. -- SPA
