Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping arrived in the United States on Monday at the beginning of a weeklong tour aimed at building smoother future relations between the two countries. Xi, arrived at Andrews Air Force Base outside Washington, where he was greeted by senior U.S. officials. Xi will meet Tuesday with President Barack Obama and other senior officials including Vice President Joseph Biden, who traveled to China last year to get acquainted with his counterpart and is the official host for Xi's visit.
