Majlis Al-Shura Holds Ordinary Session

Presided over by its Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh, Majlis Al-Shura held here today its 6th ordinary session.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Secretary General of Majlis Al-Shura Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi said that Majlis Al-Shura discussed a number of issues on its agenda.
Majlis Al-Shura resumed discussion of the recommendation submitted by a member on the annual report of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization.
Majlis Al-Shura discussed the report of the Committee on Housing, Water and Public Facilities and Services regarding the annual report of the Irrigation Commission in Ahsa for the fiscal year 2010-2011.
Majlis Al-Shura discussed the report of the Committee on Administration and Human Resources regarding the suggestion to amend the regulations of preparing the annual reports of ministries and institutions which were issued by the Royal decree No. 7/B/26345 and dated on 2001 and the suggestion to amend some rules in these regulations in accordance with article 23 of Shura Council Law which was presented by a number of Majlis Al-Shura members.
