With the participation of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, the Arab Foreign Ministers, led by their rotating president Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabr Al Thani, Qatar's Prime and Foreign Affairs Minister, held here this evening an extraordinary meeting on the Palestinian Issue. Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Gattan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Egypt, who is also his country's Permanent Representative to the Arab League, led Saudi Arabia's delegation to the meeting. Abbas briefed the meeting on the overall developments of the Palestinian issue, including the steps taken to end the Palestinian political rift as well as the Palestinian Israeli negotiations.
