Mitt Romney notched his fourth victory in the Republican state primary process on Saturday, fetching 39 per cent in the north-eastern state of Maine in an informal presidential preference caucus poll. Ron Paul received 36 per cent, Rick Santorum won 18 per cent and Newt Gingrich took 6 per cent of the votes in the ongoing battles for the Republican Party presidential nomination. Romney has already won state primaries in New Hampshire, Florida and Nevada. Santorum has four victories in Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri and Iowa, while Gingrich took South Carolina, according to a report of DPA.
