The UN General Assembly is scheduled to hold a debate on Monday on the situation in Syria, with an address by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay, as dpa reported. Pillay's spokesman, Rupert Colville, said in Geneva on Friday: "We believe, and we've said it and we'll keep repeating it, that the case of Syria belongs in the International Criminal Court. This would give a very, very strong message to those running the show." Colville confirmed Pillay is scheduled to address the 193-nation assembly in New York, adding that a draft resolution on the situation in Syria was being prepared.
