GACA President Launches First Boeing 777-300 ER into Saudia Working Fleet

Prince Fahd bin Abdullah bin Mohammed, President of General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and President of the Board of Directors of Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) Company launched the first Boeing 777-300 ER passenger plane into the service of Saudia working fleet.
The launching ceremony was held at King Khalid International Airport in the presence of Eng. Khaled Al-Molhem, Director General of Saudia and a number of officials.
The 297 seat and long range Boeing 777-300ER is a state-of-the-art aircraft, quieter and more fuel efficient than its predecessors, a model of which Saudi Arabian Airlines have contracted to buy 30.
