Acting Minister of Culture and Information highlights selecting Manama as capital of Arab culture

Dr. Yusuf Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, Minister of Social Affairs, who is also the acting Minister of Culture and Information has highlighted the choice Manama as the capital of the Arab Culture for 2012.
He confirmed in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the selection of the capital of the Kingdom of Bahrain for this purpose came due to its civilized, cultural and historical status, congratulating the Government and people of Bahrain on this great cultural celebration.
The minister also pointed out to the participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in this cultural celebration.
