Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defence received here today Prince Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Mohammed Bin Ayyaf, the Mayor of Riyadh Region, accompanied by assistants, undersecretaries, advisors, directors general, and heads of municipalities of governorates of Riyadh region, who came to greet and congratulate him on the royal trust in his appointment as Minister of Defense. Prince Salman thanked them for their noble feelings, saying, "I have been entrusted with the responsibility of working for a long time in Riyadh region. I have worked whatever I can in its service in collaboration with all bodies, especially municipalities." The Prince pointed out that the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and our former Kings have been to pay attention to citizens and their services, praising Allah Almighty for being in a state of security, stability and works for the interest of citizens. On his part, the Mayor of Riyadh Region addressed Prince Salman saying, " In implementation of your directives, Riyadh Region has witnessed great progress and development in a short time". The meeting was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Special Advisor to Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Lieutenant General Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Bunyan, Director General of the Office of Minister of Defence.
