The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) welcomed executive measures adopted by Arab foreign ministers at their meeting held in Cairo yesterday. In a statement issued today, the Organization renewed its support for the Arab initiative to resolve the crisis, calling on Syrian government and opposition to deal positively with the contents of this initiative to preserve Syria's security, stability and unity and to stop bloodshed to achieve the aspirations of Syrian people in reform and political participation.
