Main indices of the national bourse maintained an upward trend in operations around 11 a.m. on Wednesday with the price index gaining 15.8 points and reaching 5,805.2 points and the weighted one increasing 0.11 points to reach 404.39 points. Meanwhile, number of trades amounted to 2,568, value of traded stocks 18, 662,440 and volume of the exchanged stocks 191,425,000. The KSE main indexes of the bourse turned upward nearly an hour after opening the Wednesday session. Around 10 a.m. local time, the price index gained 20.7 points, hiking to the level of 5,810.1 points. The weighted index rose 0.93 points, reaching 405.22 points. Number of trades stood at 1,615, value of traded shares KD 12,126,030 and volume turnover 127,695,000, according to a report of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA). Upon opening the session, the price index posted marginal fall, 1.1 points and dropping to the level of 5,788.3 points. Weighted index lost 0.16 points decreasing to 404.13 points. Meanwhile, number of trades amounted to 170, value of exchanged stocks reached KD 1,731,350 and volume of the traded shares stood at 8,420,000.
