Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa of Bahrain opened here today the GCC National Security and Regional Security Conference, BNA reported. Prince Turki Al Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Faisal Centre for Islamic Research and Studies, spoke at the event about the challenges of regional security threats of the GCC. Prince Turki highlighted the fact that the regional security threat was one of the most pressing issues that the GCC member states must tackle.
