Iraqi officials say a car bomb outside the northern city of Mosul has killed at least eight people. A Mosul police official says the blast struck a district early Monday about 20 miles (30 kilometers) outside of the city, according to a report of the Associated Press. An official at Mosul's Al-Jomhouri hospital confirmed the death toll.
