General Jan Gahwaji, Commander in Chief of Lebanon's Army, met in Beirut today with visiting Commander of the U.S Central Command General James Mattis. During the meeting, general situations in the region, bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing the capabilities of the Lebanese army in addition to ways of managing a follow-up of the U.S. Assistance program to Lebanon in the fields of training and logistics were reviewed.
