The Secretariat General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the heinous act of terrorism that took place in Damascus on Friday and resulted in heavy losses of lives and property. In a statement, the Secretariat General of OIC expressed condemnation of all acts of terrorism and the use of violence against civilians in Syria. It also called on the Syrian government to positively respond to the appeals of United Nations and the decisions of the Executive Committee of OIC and Arab League. It reiterated its call to Syrian authorities to enforce reforms and accelerate national dialogue to evade drastic repercussions.
