Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, met at his office in Riyadh today with visiting Japan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Koichiro Gemba and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways of enhancing them in all fields were reviewed and view points on regional and international issues of mutual concern were exchanged. Following the meeting, the Gulf Cooperation Council and Japan signed an agreement on strategic cooperation between the two sides. For the GCC side, Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani, GCC secretary General, co-signed the agreement with the Japanese Foreign Minister who signed for his country. The meeting was attended by senior officials and Saudi ambassador to Japan Dr.Abdulaziz Turkistani. Later, Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz gave a luncheon in honor of the visiting minister and his accompanying delegation.
