An employee with the International Committee of the Red Cross has been abducted in the western Pakistani city of Quetta, dpa quoted the group as reporting Thursday. The British employee, who was working on health programmes, had been returning from work in the city, along the Afghan border, in a car marked with ICRC emblems. He was reportedly abducted 200 metres from an ICRC checkpoint.
