Some newspapers and websites echoed recently inaccurate information about the construction of a public park in Lebanese City of Sidon to be named after the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Embassy in Beirut said in a statement issued today. The Saudi Embassy clarified that Saad Al-Hariri, former Prime Minister of Lebanon, donated the cost of establishing the public park as a contribution he made to the development of Sidon. "The public park is constructed on a land provided by the Municipality of Sidon which made ??a decision to name the public park after the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz in recognition of the services provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the people of Sidon.
