Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf met here today with Maltese Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Tonio Borg who is currently visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, they discussed means of enhancing relations between the two countries in economic and investment fields. They also discussed the international economic situation, particularly in Europe. The two sides signed an agreement to avoid double taxation and prevent tax evasion between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Malta. The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
